Veterinarian Rusty Truman inoculates Tres, a Siberian Husky. Residents are reminded that dogs and other pets need their shots on a scheduled basis. The inoculations are not only to protect humans from diseases that animals carry, but to protect the animals from catching maladies that can make them very sick and even kill them. Truman and other vets say that quality inoculations are one of the keys to healthy animals.
