A worker balances on a machine as she watches the wire feed onto poles along Carbonville Road. For a few weeks in the winter, crews were putting up poles to move utilities along the byway for construction expected to start in the summer. The wire is being placed from where the highway joins with U.S. 6 and Southwesterly Road. Crews have strung wire on the section of Carbonville Road south of the site.
