Carbon High principal Robert Cox places an official Olympic torch in the symbol's holder, installed on a wall at the school in Price. The torch was presented to the CHS to display as part of a statewide campaign allowing all high schools in the Utah to receive a piece of Olympic history. The Olympic torch will remain on display in the office at Carbon High School, reminding local students to 'light the fire within.'
