State freestyle and Greco championships in Price this weekend

On March 18 six members of the Carbon Raptor wrestling team traveled to Juab High School to compete in the Utah State Bantam Folkstyle Championship. All six brought home medals.

First places were won by Johnny O'Hearon and Bryce Jackman. Second place finishes went to Nathan Velasquez and David Fonnesbeck. Tony and Nico Velasquez won third places.

This Friday and Saturday the Utah State Greco and Freestyle championships for the youngsters will be held at Carbon High School. Wrestlers ages four to 18 from across the state will be competing in this last tournament of the season.
