Carbon County culinary experts compete in state dutch oven cooking competition

Bill and Toni Thayn work on decorating a cake for the championship dutch oven cook off in Salt Lake City. The couple competed in the county fair winning first place and a chance to compete in Salt Lake. After wining a position on Thursday the 16 the duo moved on to the final competition Saturday the 25. After two days of competition they walked away with 13th place and a learning experience of a lifetime.
