Carbon High soccer players take the ball down field in 11-1 loss to Granite last Friday

Powerhouse Granite rolled into Price and left a dazed Carbon Dino team in its wake. Granite scored early and often as they rolled to an 11-1 victory over the Dinos. Six players from Granite sent balls past defense and into the net.

Granite is ranked number one in region eight while Carbon is alone at the bottom of a crowded field. The inexperience of the team really showed against the more experienced players from Granite. The team struggled to hold their ground and not to commit too early as the Granite team drove the ball up field.

The team now will be in Delta on Monday to meet up with the Rabbits. Delta has three victories on the young season and will make the Dinos work for a victory.
