Scholarship awarded to Carbon senior

Caitlin Thomas, a senior at Carbon High School, is the proud recipient of the Utah School Counselors Association scholarship. Out of the 50 Utah students who applied only eight were chosen to receive the $500 scholarship. Thomas was able to present her winning essay in person to a board of Utah school counselors. She plans to attend the College of Eastern Utah next fall.
