Local church renews longstanding tradition of Lenten lunch

Members of the United Methodist Church of Price, gathered on Ash Wednesday, March 1, to begin the season of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, reflection and repentance that heralds the Easter season. The church sponsors a Lenten lunch each Wednesday until Easter. Guest speakers address those gathered at each luncheon, and everyone, regardless of denomination, is welcome to participate.
