Local fire fighting personnel focus on extinguishing burning brush in a field near the Price Wal-Mart store Saturday afternoon. There were no injuries or property damage reported in connection with the incident and the cause of the Feb. 25 blaze was undetermined, indicated fire department personnel responding to the scene. Carbon County residents are encouraged to exercise caution when using fire to clear debris from landscapes and fields during the outdoor burning season as cold winter weather gives way to warmer, drier spring conditions.
