Each week during the basketball season the Sun Advocate highlights players from the Carbon High girls and boys basketball teams.

Levi Branch is a senior this year. He is a power forward on the basketball team. He also plays football as an inside linebacker or running back. Fishing and camping are among some of his other activities he enjoys.

Carpentry class is his favorite this year. He has four sisters and two brothers to share things with. He looks up to his parents.

After Levi serves a mission he hopes to play football at the collegiate level somewhere.

Carbon High Senior Bryan Gazell plays shooting guard for the Dinos basketball team. He looks forward to time on his wake board and getting away to hunt, fish and camp.

Bryan has found work study to be a class he enjoys. He has an older brother to follow. He looks up to Parker Parson because Parker is taller by two inches. He will attend college after graduation, but not by his own choice.

Senior Jamie King is the center of the Lady Dinos. She is an outside hitter on the volleyball team as well. Her other activities include anything to do with the outdoors including a love of travel.

Her favorite classes have been all the science classes she has taken. She has had two older brothers to lead the way.

Her parents are whom she admires as role models. Jamie will attend CEU next year to play volleyball.

Keith Barker is both a point and shooting guard in his senior year at Carbon High. He is a receiver and safety on the football squad as well. When he is not practicing or playing sports, he enjoys wake boarding and relaxing. He also snow boards, hunts, fishes and camps during the off seasons.

Brandon admires his parents as role models. His favorite subject in school is history. He has a brother and a sister. He plans on attending college, but has not narrowed it down yet.

Senior Stetson Kunz is a forward and point guard for the Carbon squad. He plays lineman on the football team and ran cross-country. He was also on the soccer team as a defender.

He loves just to hang with friends and camp. Stetson has one brother and one sister. He looks up to his older brother as a role model.

He plans on going on a mission and then returning to attend CEU after graduation.
