Each week during the basketball season the Sun Advocate highlights two players from the Carbon High girls and boys basketball teams.

Carbon High Sophomore Josh Spigarelli is a three sport athlete. He is a point and shooting guard for the basketball team, plays safety and wide receiver on the football team and is a pitcher and an outfielder on the baseball squad.

Josh has one older brother and an older sister. When he is not in school he loves to ride four wheelers with his dad.

He is planning on going to college in Utah or California, but hasn't narrowed it down to which one yet.

Carbon High Freshman, Emily Cox is involved in four sports. She plays guard for the Basketball team, is an outside hitter on the volleyball team, a catcher and second baseman for the softball team and runs hurdles in track.

In addition to all the sports, Emily loves music and plays the Saxophone. English is her favorite class.

Emily is the youngest child out of four girls and three boys in her family.
