Newspaper corrects tar sands, oil shale scoping meeting error

A recent article in the Sun Advocate announcing the times of the public scoping meetings scheduled for the United States Bureau of Land Management's oil shale and tar sands programmatic environmental impact statement contained an inadvertent error.

The local PEIS public scoping sessions are slated Jan. 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 7 until 10 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Price.

The newspaper regrets the inadvertent error.
