Jeff Nielson is serenaded by the Carbon High Choir after being sworn in by Judge Elaine Storrs on Tuesday night at the Price Civic Auditorium. The program included songs, speeches by Judge Bryce Bryner as well as short addresses by those being sworn in.

The program, which lasted about an hour, brought together an almost new city council with Mayor Joe Piccolo, Kathy Hanna Smith, Jeanne McEvoy and Nielson on the stage and present council member Richard Tatton in the audience.

The program was followed by a dinner on the second floor of Price City Hall for those attending.
