Each week during the basketball season the Sun Advocate highlights two players from the Carbon High girls and boys basketball teams.

Carbon High Freshman Jordan Tatton (4) plays guard and point guard. He is 5"8" and played for the Mont Harmon Pirates in both his 7th and 8th grade years.

Jordan has played basketball as long as he can remember. He also enjoys football and played wide receiver for the team this year. His favorite class is his manufacturing class. He has two older brothers, one younger brother and one older sister.

He wants to attend college in Florida or at the U of U after he graduates.

Freshman Patricia Smith loves to play basketball, softball and soccer.

She is a guard on the basketball team. She plays shortstop on the softball team and is a mid fielder for soccer.

She and her twin sister have eight older siblings and a couple younger siblings. Her favorite subject is math.

Patricia has not made any plans about attending college yet. She loves spending time with her family and her hero is God.
