Evelyn Rasmussen Petersen celebrated her 80th birthday on Dec. 17.

Evelyn was born in Kenilworth to Lawrence and Thelma Rasmussen on Dec. 17, 1925.

On Aug. 1, 1945, she married Cambron Petersen in Salt Lake City. Their vows were solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in 1963.

Evelyn was raised in Price, but later made her home in Brigham City. She has three sons, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
