Local track athlete named to all-state team

Carbon High student and track athlete Cody Butler races in a regional track meet where he has made waves through not only his talent, but also his academic performance. Butler has been selected to the Utah High School Activities Association to be included in their all-state track team. Butler was selected to the team because of his outstanding performance this season in track while maintaining a high grade point average. Butler was honored during the state track tournament last week during a presentation of the team.
