Deeter gains All State Academic honors

Carbon High's Nick Deeter was named an Academic All-State football player at Rice Eccles Stadium during the state football playoffs on Nov. 18.

Deeter, a senior, played on the defensive and offensive line this year for the Dinos. At 5'11" and 240 lbs he was one of the keys to the Carbon team.

All through his high school years Deeter has had a 4.0 average.

Others on the All State Academic team included Michael Deakin of Bear River, James P. Elwell from Logan, Chance Hall of Hurricane, Chase Leon Kimbal from Morgan, Aaron King of Granite, James Lark from Pine View, Chad Nielson of Delta, Kyle Noorlander from North Sanpete, Jordan Rich of Hurricane and Jason Robinson from Dixie.
