City employee Kent Jones saws down a giant evergreen for Price's Christmas tree. The large tree was donated by John and Dusty McKelvie of Wellington, who indicate that the evergreen is more than 30 years old. Workers secured the tree to a trailer and transported it to the Price Peace Garden, where the evergreen will be decorated and displayed during the 2005 holiday season. After the tree is removed from the city grounds, McKelvie hopes to gather the wood and make furniture from the lumber.
