Alva Justice and Dakota Fuller sit together on a rock at Nine Mile Canyon. The children traveled to the outdoor venue with the second grade classes from Wellington Elementary as part of a field trip. The students hiked hills, examined rock art and learned about Native American history while on their outdoor journey. Filled with cultural and historic artifacts, Nine Mile Canyon is a premier location for learning about the past.
