At this golf tournament everyone was happy with the outcome.

The Hurricane Katrina event held at Carbon Golf Course on Saturday October 1st was a huge success. There were a total of 24 teams who helped raise money for a great cause. The winners were the Pro Rehab team that shot a 54, 16 under par, the second place team was team Needles. The highlights of the event was the hole in one made by Jason Child on hole number 8 from 150 yards with a 9 iron. The shot was witnessed by Houston Lui and John Barnett. The other highlight of the event was the concert by Keele 'n Time, a local band that sounded great. All of the golfers as well as the general public were welcome to listen to the great sounds of the band.

The second event of the weekend was the Club Championship held Oct. 1-2. The event was rather small but for those who participated in it they had a great time. This year there was something a little special and that was a Westergard sweep. For the first time ever in the history of the event has a father and son won both the net and gross championships.
