The kids fishing pond development project in Helper is nearing completion. Last week, the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources started partially filling the waterhole. In addition, a number of wildlife groups provided greenery for the pond. Participants assisting with the project are placing plants and logs on the bottom. Eventually, the water will cover the greenery and the plants will provide habitat for fish. Grand opening for the pond is set at the end of May.
