U.S. Highway 6 Through Price, Spanish Fork Canyons Closed After Explosion

A UDOT roadblock routes traffic off of U.S. Highway 6 and onto U.S. Highway 191 Wednesday afternoon. The route from Price to Spanish Fork is closed after explosives hauled by tractor trailer reportedly exploded at milepost 191, between Thistle and the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon. Initial reports indicated there were several injuries after the explosion left a crater roughly 30 feet deep and 60 feet wide.
