Elder Jewkes

Elder Tyrell James Jewkes has been called to serve in the Taiwan-Taipei mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elder Jewkes will speak July 31 at 9 a.m. at the Ferron Millsite LDS Ward.

He is the son of Derri and Stacey Jewkes. He is the grandson of Duane and Erma Jones and Jim and Pam Jewkes.

Elder Jewkes will enter the missionary training center Aug. 10.


Elder Jorgensen

Elder Jan Michael Jorgensen has returned to the local area after serving in the Idaho-Boise mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is the son of Jeff and Julie Jorgensen.

Elder Jorgensen will report on his mission July 31 at 9 a.m. at the Helper LDS Ward, 150 Ridgeway Street.


Elder King

Elder Matthew King has returned to the local area after serving in the Spain-Las Palmas mssion for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elder King will speak July 31 at 11:30 a.m. at the Gordon Creek LDS Ward in Price.

He is the son of Kurt and Bonnie King.


Sister Prettyman

Sister Emily Prettyman has accepted a call to serve in the Fiji-Suva mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Sister Prettyman will speak July 31 at 9 a.m. at the Helper LDS Stake Center, located at 150 Ridgeway.

She is the daughter of Larry and Jody Prettyman of Helper.

Sister Prettyman will enter the missionary training center Aug. 24.


Elder Petty

Elder Jacob K. Petty has accepted a call to serve in the Alabama-Birmingham mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elder Petty gave his missionary farewell address July 24 at the Gordon Creek LDS Ward.

He is the son of David and Christine Petty.

Elder Petty will enter the missionary training center Aug. 3.


Elder Potter

Elder Derek Lyle Potter has accepted a call to serve in the Mexico-Hermosillo mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elder Potter entered the missionary training center July 20.

He is the son of Jae and Lisa Potter. He is the grandson of Mack and Judy Potter, Lyle and Nellene Heinz and the late LaMoyne Jones.


Elder Wilde

Elder Blake L. Wilde has returned to the local area after serving in the California-Roseville mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elder Wilde will report on his mission July 31 at 9 a.m. at the Westwood LDS Ward Chapel.

He is the son of Rick and Kathy Wilde.


Sister Wells

Sister Allison Wells, the daughter of Dan and Annette Wells of Cleveland, has accepted the call to serve in the El Salvador-San Salvador East mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Sister Wells will speak July 31 at 11 a.m. at the Cleveland 2nd LDS Ward.

Sister Wells will enter the missionary training center in Provo on Aug. 10.


Elder Parrish

Elder Jason Parrish has returned to the local area after serving in the Argentina-Bahia Blanca mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elder Parrish will speak July 31 at 9 a.m. during sacrament meeting at the Millsite LDS Ward. He is the son of Doug and JaNene Parrish.
