James Prettyman, College of Eastern Utah police officer, assists a teenage football player who was trapped in an elevator at the Aaron Jones Hall at the college. With a combined weight well over the 2,100 lb. weight limit of the elevator, 14 boys were trapped for roughly 45 minutes. The football players were attending a camp hosted by the college. Prettyman opted not to issue a criminal citation and Price Fire Chief Kent Boyack chose not to charge their high school for the cost the rescue. The high school will be required to cover the costs of repairing the elevator.
