Savage employees rush to assist at scene of traffic accident on Nine Mile Road

Savage employees and members of Wellington and Carbon County emergency services survey the scene of a June 3 traffic accident on Nine Mile Road. A Savage tractor-trailer driver reportedly swerved to miss colliding with a second truck that had apparently lost control on the road in Wellington last Friday. Emergency crews freed the Savage semi driver from the wreckage and loaded the victim into an ambulance en route to the hospital while employees of the company surveyed the damage to the truck and watched for possible risk of fire.
