Crystel Hepworth makes a solo performance of "Tomorrow" from the Broadway musical "Annie." The performance was part of the school's 50th anniversary celebration. Petersen was built on land purchased from Kaiser Steel for $1 and was built in two phases to accommodate growth in the middle of the 20th century. Now after 50 years, school officials are planning to move the facilities to the building where East Carbon High is housed now.
