Crews prepare ball fields for regular season play

City employee Suda Merriman removes large rocks while Ricky Hopkins rakes the ball field at South Park in Price. Weather permitting, city workers rake the infield daily during warm months. Every two weeks, the field is soaked, uneven areas are leveled, holes are filled in and the field is raked again to loosen dirt.
