Lt. Alan Green counts the fish caught by an angler on Saturday. Utah Division of Wildlife Resources personnel teamed with the Utah Highway Patrol trooper at a vehicle checkpoint on Utah Highway 96 just west of the junction with U.S. Highway 6 on May 14. In addition to verifying registration on both motor vehicles and watercraft and checking fishing licenses and limits, the officials wanted to know where anglers were having success and techniques that were being used.
