Minor injuries reported in collision of semi-truck, auto

Emergency personnel survey damage to a vehicle after it was broad-sided by an oncoming semi. The collision occurred Monday afternoon on U.S. Highway 6 near the construction at Sunnyside Junction. The driver of a blue Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling west on U.S. Highway 6 when he reportedly drifted across the double-yellow center line and an east-bound semi-truck hit the side of the vehicle. The collision deployed airbags in the Cavalier and law enforcement on the scene reported minor injuries.
