Julie Dalton, Aric Nelson and Karl Bringhurst check out a motor vehicle's engine and electrical wiring system. Students in the College of Eastern Utah's automotive classes recently competed at the state tournament. Dalton and Nelson placed third at the competition, while Karl Bringhurst captured second in the job interview category. A junior high school student, Bringhurst will participate at the national competition scheduled in June. Bringhurst will compete against students from schools across the United States, including educational institutions with four-year automotive programs.
