Students win awards from national organizations

Carbon assistant principal Missy Hamilton stands with students Jana Burrows and Steven Goodin, who both received important awards this year. Burrows received the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen award for Carbon High this spring, while Goodin was honored for his exemplary volunteer service with the Presidents Volunteer Service Award. That award is given to citizens of all ages on behalf of the Presidents Council on Service and Civic Participation.
