A branch-antlered bull elk was found dead on sage flat in Emery County, and was reported to Division of Wildlife Resources officers. When wildlife officers returned to investigate the bull elk, the head had been removed. It is believed that the individual who committed this act, did so sometime around Easter weekend. Anyone with information about this bull elk or any other wildlife violation is asked to call the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources at (435) 636-0277, or the Help Stop Poaching hotline at 1-800-662-DEER.
