Three state champions awarded at Wrestling meet

Seven members of the Carbon Raptor Wrestling team went to Pleasant View for the 2005 USA Wrestling Utah Freestyle and Greco-Roman State Championships, which were held at Weber High School. On April 9 and 10, they came away with three state champions, Johnny O'Hearon, Caleb Williams and Bryce Jackman. Double gold was won by Caleb Williams.

In 2005 the Carbon Raptors were coached by Montel Jackman, with assistants Ron Williams and Keith Key.

The following wrestlers qualify for Team Utah at the Western Regional Championships in Winnemucca, Nev. on June 20-25, Caleb Williams, Brycee Jackman, Kenny Wood in Greco-Roman style. Johnny O'Hearon, Caleb Williams, Bryce Jackman, Kenny Wood, Nathan Velasquez, and Taylor O'Hearon.
