 | | Published 2,950 days ago | can current Castle Valley residents identify faces from Carbon County's past?
A group of apparent 'bony pickers' from the World War II era takes a break to pose for the camera. Bony pickers were the people who removed the rock from the coal as the fossil fuel came out of the underground mines for processing. Carbon County residents with information regarding the identities of the men and women pictured with the group are encouraged to contact Richard Shaw at the newspaper office at 637-0732.
