Joe Venus stands with the late J. Eldon Doorman in front of a mural the artist painted for the College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum. The mural was dedicated several years ago. Venus will have 50 of his paintings exhibited at the museum during the months of April, May and June. A reception to start the exhibit and allow patrons to visit with the artist will be presented April 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the museum.
