Dry canyons may represent the normal type of scenery in Carbon County, but the mountains are drier than almost any time in the past. While a little moisture hit the area last weekend, it wasn't even enough to wet the whistle of nature. Much of the snowpack in the mountains has already melted and officials at the state as well as local level have started discussing methods to encourage residents across Utah to conserve water.
