Local tumblers place high at meet

Tiffany Johnson does a somie at the Delta Power Tumbling meet.

Power tumbling is a sport that requires a lot of skill, coordination and work.

At a recent meet some local tumblers did very well in their various categories.

The meet called the Delta Power Tumbling competition (at the Delta Fairgrounds) was held in mid-February.

At the event the Carbon areas top competitor was Tiffany Johnson who took two first places and one second place.

Also placing were Miranda Averett with two first and a sixth place, Breyanna Coleman with two firsts and a second, Kaylee Davis with a first, second and third place, Ashlee Gutierrez with two seconds and a third, Reagan Harrison with a first, a third and a fifth, Karen Moosman with a third, fourth and sixth, Kelcy Santistevan with a first, second and third and Shaylie Winward with two firsts and a second.
