Caring Adults receive state award for community service

The local group Carbon County Caring Adults received the prestigious 2001 Red Wagon Award. The award was presented to Anne Mackiewicz and Kathy Murray, steering committee chairpeople.

The group is committed to providing support while mentoring the youth in Carbon County. The group recently expanded their work to include all five of the America's Promise areas which include caring adults, safe and healthy places for kids, healthy start, marketable skills and opportunities to serve.
