CEU Library Adds Microfilm/fiche Reader, Printer Equipment

College of Eastern Utah Library director Barbara Steffee aids student Sam Page with loading a new microfiche machine as reference librarian Lori Brassaw watches.

The computerized microfilm/fiche reader and printer arrived at the library early last week. Patrons will now be able to save research to personal disks, CDs or portable USB drives at no charge.

'We are excited to be able to offer this service again. The library has a wonderful collection of local newspapers on microfilm and I am happy to see it fully accessible again,' commented Steffee.
