Helper Fire Chief Mike Zamantakis releases pressure in a hydrant before disconnecting the hose at a house blaze in Kenilworth on March 4. Helper and Price city fire departments, Helper and Carbon County law enforcement officers along with ambulance personnel responded to assist at the scene of the fire. A problem with the electrical circuits in the basement reportedly sparked the fire, which spread to the surrounding circuits. After firefighters extinguished the blaze, Utah Power cut the electricity to the immediate area.
