Anique Welch opened Expressions Ballet Company early last fall at 129 South Main in Helper. She teaches classical ballet lessons to four year olds and older, including a women's class.
Work continues on the new Sutherland's, expected to open in April in the former Wal-Mart Building. The four-generation lumber and homeware business has 70 outlets nation-wide. The new manager of Sutherlands is Wayne Clausing, bringing 18 years of experience with Sutherlands to Price.When completed the business will offer around 100,000 square feet of sales space where they will handle hardware, lumber, garden supplies, cabinets, electrical and paint.
Deedee and Chris Teuscher look over their stock of carpet at the new Ogdens Carpet Outlet that opened recently in Price.
Xu Chang stands next to a new buffet counter at China Buffet, located in the Creekview Shopping Center. Offering a wide variety of Chinese cuisine, China buffet opened in December of 2004.
Brad Harper, owner, operator of Domino's Pizza opened at 592 East Main in Price on December 5, 2004. According to Harper, sales are meeting their projections.
Farm Bureau Financial Services, Richard Hackwell moved hsi office to 475 East Main in Price last September. Joni Hackwell, above says the business offers financial services, including retirement options and estate planning.
Frankie's Drive-In opened at 37 North Main in Helper last September. Owned by Frances Price , pictured behind the counter include Frankie Fausett, Suzette Welch and Anique Welch. The fast food restaurant advertised that they service good old fashioned food.
Intermountain Electronics will soon be moving into this state of the art warehouse that they have been buiilding east of Price.
A new government facility in the area that just opened is the adult probation and parole office next door to Murdock Motors.
Meagan Goodstein supervises the opening of the new Maurices stor located in the Castle Rock Square in Price. Maurices opened Dec 10, 2004 and features a wide assortment of clothing for young men and women.
