Nike and owners Chris and Blake Heiner entertain children during story hour at Price City Library. Nike is one of more than a dozen animals that are part of the PAWS program. Besides Nike, the group also has cats, a rabbit and a horse. PAWS will be accepting new applications and members in February. Families who have animals they feel may be good candidates for the program should plan on attending a program Feb. 2 and 9 between 6 and 7 p.m. at Active Re-entry.
