Accident on US-6 Kills One

Crews unload a stretcher and backboard to help the driver of a car that was reportedly involved in a fatal car-motorcycle accident on Highway 6 at the junction with Carbonville Road near Blue Cut. The crash killed a motorcyclist who was thrown from his vehicle about 1 p.m. on Monday. The collision blocked all the north bound lanes of the highway and traffic had to be routed around the scene and into the median while the site was being cleared.
