William Robertson

SALT LAKE CITY - William "Robby" Raymond Robertson passed away Christmas Day at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City.

He was born Jan. 8, 1938 in Idaho Springs, Colo., to William T. (Pete) Robertson and Edith Wright.

Survived by three daughters, Tina (Dan), Gina Robertson and Kathy (Chad) Christiansen; three sisters, Rose (Bud) Jaramillo; Mabel Donohue and Margie Marshall; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services Monday, Jan. 3, 11 a.m., at Utah Veterans Memorial Park at Camp Williams. Open house to follow, 7685 S. 1130 East, Midvale.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Parkinson's research in Robby's honor.

Joan Harward

PRICE/TOOELE - Joan Harward, 92, passed away Dec. 27, 2004 of natural causes surrounded by her loving family.

Born Nov. 3, 1912 to John and Nellie Cheesbrough in Weiser, Idaho. Moved to Elk Mountain, Wyo., where she grew up on her parent's ranch. She met and married Eldon Harward Nov. 11, 1944.

The couple later moved to Price along with Eldon's son, Kent. Eldon worked in the coal mines. They had four children, Heber, Mark, Lois and Stephen.

Joan sang with a ladies LDS choir. She also enjoyed playing the piano, violin, tatting, painting and gardening.

In December 1998, Joan moved to Tooele. In her last years, she lived with her daughter, Lois, then with her son, Kent.

She is survived by a sister, Victoria Johnson; Kent (Winnifred) Harward and Lois Carlson; grandchildren, Cindy Day, Julie Gyllenskog, Phil Carlson, Lisa (Max) Rickords, Michael (Jill) Harward and Tifiny (Earl) Rose II.

The family wishes to thank the loving nurses and aids at Harmony Health Care Hospice, who cared for Joan during her last days.

An informal memorial gathering of family and friends took place Dec. 29 at 524 Oakridge Drive, Tooele. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
