Ballet company opens in Helper

Anique Welch is offering classical ballet instruction in Helper at Expressions Ballet Company, a new business in Helper. Located at 129 S. Main, the phone number is 650-1981. They opened Sept. 13.

Students have performing opportunities and will learn the essentials of classical ballet. Welch is teaching students from ages four and up. There are also women's classes.

Anique has been dancing since she was four years old, beginning with classical ballet at age nine under the instruction of Kandie Olsen and Carolyn Gwyther at the College of Eastern Utah. She has been teaching and choreographing for about five years.

The junior and senior companies will be performing on Dec. 3 and 4 before the Light Parade in Helper.
