Local gymnasts place high in tournament and state standings

Ashlyn Spillman and Kelly Broadbear are two dedicated gymnasts. Each girl travels to Orem three times a week to train with a gymnastics team. Despite the travel, both girls successfully maintain honor roll grades. The hard work has definitely paid off. Both girls have competed in meets held in Las Vegas, Boise, and throughout the state of Utah. Each gymnast has competed successfully, bringing home first, second, and third place medals from each meet. Spillman and Broadbear compete in the floor, vault, balance beam, and uneven bars categories. The skills of each gymnast has earned them overall scores that are ranked high in the state.
