Sharon Juliano of Price was notified August 31 that she is the winner of a sweepstakes sponsored by ESPN and Precis Communications. The ESPNEWS 'Behind the Scenes Sweepstakes" was conducted by Precis Communications this summer. Anyone in Precis' service areas who subscribed to Cable TV or current customers who upgraded their service during the ESPNEWS promotion were eligible for the prize.

The prize is a trip for two to ESPNEWS headquarters in Bristol, Conn. and includes round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, a tour behind the scenes at ESPN, a meet-and-greet with ESPNEWS talent and lunch in the ESPN Cafeteria.

Shane Baggs, Precis State Director of Operations notified Juliano of the prize. "She was so excited, it took her a while to realize we were telling her the truth", stated Baggs. 'We are thrilled to have her represent Price and Precis in Bristol and look forward to hearing about her travels." Baggs continues, "ESPN has been a supportive programming network partner with us over the years and we look forward to offering more sweepstakes and promotions just like this one in the future.'

Precis conducted the ESPNEWS promotion in conjunction with their plans to launch the popular network, ESPN2, onto their Expanded Basic level of service.

"It's our way of showing our loyal customers that we are listening to their comments regarding programming and making every effort possible to build exceptional value of our cable TV products" explains Baggs.
