Clint Finkbiner of Helper was honored with the Knights of Columbus International Free Throw Championship trophy on Sept. 19.

The competition takes place annually and is open to all boys and girls ages 10-14. Earlier this year, Clint shot 14 out of 15 free throws at the council competition and 24 out of 25 at the district level.

He advanced to the Utah state competition at Juan Diego High School. At the state championship, Finkbiner shot a perfect 25 for 25 in the 11-year-old category. It was his second consecutive state championship.

His scores were then forwarded to the national council where it was determined his score was the best internationally, as well.
