Debbie Lloyd

HELPER - Debbie Bingham Nicols Wheeler Lloyd, daughter of Vern and Delores Evans Bingham, passed away Aug. 16, 2004 in Provo.

She was born Nov. 23, 1954 in Ogden. She married the Reverend Kenneth Lloyd on April 16, 1997.

Debbie enjoyed working on her yard and the water fights which almost always resulted.

She was a valued and respected member of the New Heights Clubhouse.

She had a kind heart and everyone she came in contact with would leave with a smile.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Debbie is survived by daughter, Collette Nichols; father, Vern Bingham of Ogden; and brother, Rick Kennedy of Layton. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth; and mother, Delores.

A memorial service celebrating Debbie's life will be Monday, Aug. 23, 11 a.m., at the Helper Parkway Pavilion, located on 100 West.

Pat Roye

PRICE/Louisiana - Loraine Bell Roye, age 83, passed away Aug. 17, 2004 at the Castle Country Care Center in Price.

She was born March 31, 1921 in Vardarman, Miss., to Walter V. and Edmond Elmira Flowers Bell. Married Vasco William Roye March 2, 1946 in Monroe, La. He died May 21, 1981 and their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Temple.

Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

During the earlier years, she worked as a factory worker, beautician, seamstress and operated a child care center in her home for many years.

Pat was very independent, strong willed and she never stopped trying to better herself. In 1965, she returned to school and received her high school diploma at the same time as her son, Eddie.

Mom continued to live alone until she had a stroke in 1999.

She will be dearly missed by family and many longtime friends.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters, William Eddie Roye, Price; Kathleen Roy, Auburn, Ala.; Martha J. Perry, Salt Lake City; Terry D. (Leigh Anne) Roye, Manchester, Conn.; two brothers, Fred and Roy; a sister, Christine; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation Thursday evening, Aug. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 E. Main Street, Price. Graveside service Saturday, Aug. 21, 3 p.m., at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, La. Family will be at Mulhearn Funeral Home on McMillan Road Saturday, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

John Hansen

COLUMBIA - Our John Hansen "Free Bird" went home Aug. 12, 2004.

He was born Nov. 9, 1954 in Hinsdale, Ill., to Daniel and Betty Hansen.

Our son, father, brother and father was dear to our hearts.

He loved everything about working on cars. He collected and built models his whole life.

He enjoyed traveling up the mountain and four-wheeling through the desert.

He will truly be missed.

John is survived by mother, Betty Hansen; wife, Donna Hansen; children, Michelle, John Hansen Jr., April, Alicia, Amber, Megan and Lacey; and four grandchildren.

His family will be holding a celebration of life ceremony at their home in Columbia on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers or food, the family suggests contributions.
