Tabby Cummins surges to overtake a Provo player on the Lady Dino's home field. Provo won the game 12-1.

In a rescheduled game at Cyprus, the Lady Dinos came away victorious behind the two goals of Tabby Cummins on Aug. 16.

Final score was 2-0.

The following day, however, Carbon High struggled under the heavy weight of a dominating Provo team. The Lady Bulldogs, a 4A team, dominated offensively. The team scored six goals in both halves of the game.

Tacie McFarlane was the only Lady Dino to score against Provo, lofting a penalty kick over the goalie late in the second half. The Lady Dinos took a 12-1 loss.

With new head coach Timothy Palmer at the helm, Carbon is making the necessary adjustments to have a successful season.

The young team only has three returning seniors and several new freshman. Palmer said he expects the efforts of this season to carry over into the upcoming years.
